CEs by the Sea!
Rest and rejuvenate in a beautiful natural setting while earning your professional CE credits.

Dr. Brenda Butterfield teaches a wide variety of workshops for mental health therapists, marriage and family therapists, social workers, and other healthcare providers both at the ONE Center and live on Zoom. From March to October, many are held in beautiful “outdoor classrooms” on the land offering smaller group experiences (limited to 20 people).  All workshops are participatory and experiential to facilitate deep learning.

These events highlight innovative, evidence-based practices focused on reimagining mental health care. At the core, these events are designed to help professionals honor the therapeutic alliance by remembering and revisiting effective ways to care for clients. Sessions highlight the power of the client relationship as healing medicine and the secondary role of treatment interventions. They focus on how to provide client-centered care using practices that also improve the professional’s job satisfaction, health and well-being. All techniques are supported by research and correlate to positive outcomes for clients.

Participants will also develop new skills across a wide range of topics, such as: connecting with clients more authentically, integrating spirituality and religion in mental health counseling, ethical obligations of clinicians, using assessment measures in client-centered ways, and integrating mindfulness into mental health care.
