About the event
Helping professionals, we understand the struggle of finding our required CE’s while also desperately trying to balance necessary respite and personal restoration. Why not get both and enjoy your CEs by the sea in a two day getaway at ONE with guest presenter Kristen Caron, our Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator. Completion of this retreat will yield 12 CEs for mental health therapists, social workers, marriage and family therapists and naturopath doctors.
Bask in the morning sun on Lunar Landing for optional hatha yoga and mindful meditation before we begin our experiential work in the curricula based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown, author of Daring Greatly™. Camp on the land at ONE or enjoy local lodging. Either way, we will spend our days together, making memories.
The primary focus of this experiential workshop is developing shame resilience skills and developing daily practices that transform the way we live, love, parent, and lead. Together, we will explore the topics of vulnerability, courage, shame, and worthiness. We'll examine thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that keep us stuck as we identify new choices and practices to move us toward more authentic, wholehearted living. What better way to engage in this process than on the land, with time to enjoy the beauty of nature all around. Our time together can also include forest bathing, sea kayaking, and mindful moments in the gardens, forest, and labyrinth.
The courage to connect and care for yourself is daring indeed. While this work is truly for you, the helper, your experience will benefit your therapy practice. Whether it be the connections, campfires, or basking in the beauty of the land and ionized air, The ONE Center has gifts for everyone at this incredibly unique CE opportunity. Space is limited, so register soon! Please email questions to Secure@kristencounseling.com
